Watches:
ahead of the times and always precise
The Group offers a broad range of watch brands, from highly affordable to luxury and ultra-fashionable timepieces.
The outlook for the highly fragmented watches segment is very promising, which is why the Group decided to consolidate its presence in this market. In 2002, it acquired EuropaQuartz-Goldy, followed five years later by the acquisition of Louis Pion-Royal Quartz. In 2008, it combined all its watch stores under two brands, Royal Quartz and Louis Pion, becoming the segment leader and the benchmark for watch retailing in France.
This ambitious strategy reflects a market that has witnessed a surge in sales in recent years. A timeless value in the watch/jewellery segment, watches are mythical objects that inspire growing demand from a new breed of clientele seeking the ultimate fashion accessory.
The Group was quick to identify this nascent trend and is now positioned as France’s top watch retailer, with 120 outlets around the country. The watches business is divided into a luxury division and a fashion division, offering the broadest possible selection of timepieces, from Swatch to Louis Pion, Rolex, Blancpain or Cartier.
